Ultimate_Score_box_1.jpgBox 1321 viewsThis a pretty big box, and you can get a feel for its contents if you zoom in and look carefully. Several bench planes up to #7 can be seen, as well as several combo plane parts, a #40 scrub, etc., etc.TRexF16

Ultimate_Score_boxes_1-15.jpgboxes 1-15357 viewsThis is the job I have ahead of me. I can't lift any of these by myself, so I'll need a lot of help moving them. Moving to where? I guess I should have thought about that before I pulled the trigger...TRexF16

IMG_0987.JPGCrank-Neck Gouges227 viewsAmazing Galoot Kharma. I sent Ed Minch an oilstone he really liked, and he sent me a surprise in return. How neat that the Buck Bros. crank-necked gouge he sent filled a perfect niche in the lineup of the other two I already owned. Ed's gift is the smallest, in the foreground shown with its new brothers!TRexF16

IMG_0963.JPGBerea Rocky River Oilstone End261 viewsThe stone is in great shape. The "top" is basically unused, and a small amout of wear is evident on the bottom. Both sides have a slight crown (not cup) so they should be great for working and edge; probably not so good a choice for flattening backs.TRexF16

BR_5_5.JPGEstate sale picture356 viewsThe plane I got up so early to go look at is on the table in the lower right 0f the photo. Zooming in, it looked like a "low" rosewood knob, and compared to the splitting wdege next to it, looked a bit wide like it might be a 4 1/2.TRexF16

IMG_0899.JPGStanley #60 Chisel Types237 viewsThese represent at least five different "types" of #60. I don't know the order of introduction, but have lined them up left to right based on my guess at oldest to newest style. I have at least one of the middle type with an earlier owner's name and "1947" etched on the back.TRexF16
