IMG_2799.JPGGalootaclaus 2016 79 views11 items, two for chunks of Bodark and Mesquite from Texas, two for chisels needing a boatload of care, a bit holder also needing some help, a box of #7 slotted flat heads from Sweden of all places, dual sheave blocks, a mystery #593 Stanley hammer without faces, a NIB set of 6 Greenlee Irwin style bits, some acid brushes, and a tubular thing that apparently grows that way - never saw anything like this before, but I'm guessing that grew in Texas too. Quite an assortment.Charlie Driggs

074.JPGBest view123 viewsWhen my Mother in Law moved to our house, I inherited my Father in Laws tools. Among them was this Irwin #22 Expansive Bit.
I've only used it a couple of times but when you need a 3" hole it will certainly do the job.
075.JPGMicro-Dial63 viewsThis is pretty much a guessing guide. If you look closely there is a mark on the dial and on the moving cutter that are supposed to be in line. Best bet is to set and test on a piece of scrap. At 3" setting this is a bear to turn. I have to put all 280 lbs into moving the brace. Using the ratchet to allow 1/4 turns pulling the brace toward my body worked best.OldSneelock
