New Tools

This is an album in it's infancy. It is meant to contain photos of tools new to me. Some truly are new tools that have been made by myself or others I know that want the rest of you to enjoy by either looking or purchasing. Others will be antique tools that I have found and simply passed along, others will be just cleaned and yet others will be restored, and yes, some will be listed for sale. P1010829.JPGBrian Beck Infill Block Plane, truly a "Work Of Art".36 viewsThis is a very fine low angle block plane from the hand of Brian Beck, Seattle tool maker. It was presented to me as a birthday gift and I can't help but let the rest of the tool world, such as I know it, see this fine piece of work. It works so smoothly it is like pushing a warm knife through warm butter. It has a Beech infill with a Purple Heart Wedge. The body is brass, dovetailed and soldered. It is truly a beauty to behold.
