18th Century leather covered flat-top trunk
The trunk is 24 inches wide, 12 inches deep, and 13 inches tall. The trunk body is 5/8 inch poplar was was made by Ralph the Boxman. I removed the original wooden handles on the ends and the lid. It is covered in 2 - 3 ounce black leather with 3-4 ounce leather dyed oxblood for the scalloped dust skirt.
