Drive Center shape

This is what I am aiming for for my drive center. Earlier shapes had the center point too long and the side spurs wouldn't hold the wood. Hopefully this design will work better. I will also follow the advice of Tom Conroy and other galoots and cut a groove for the drive center to sit in.
